EDT 400
Introduction: EDT 400 is an undergraduate course offered by the University of Maine COEHD.
I have been invited to present through Elluminate on “The Role of a Maine Educator in the 21st Century”. Really looking forward to working with these preparing teachers on the 7th of April.

for the invitation.
I spent Friday, March 18, 2011 immersed in Google with teachers from Yarmouth School System. They had a very well planned day to prepare everyone for their upcoming move to Google Apps for Education. I led a group on “Gmail Tips and Tricks” followed by “Blogging with Blogger”.
Thank you, Alice Barr for the invitation.
This year I will be moderating the first week of “Becoming a Webhead 2011″, BAW2011, for the “Electronic Village Online”, EVO.
Week one includes the first meeting with the worldwide participants and assisting them with online learning, many for the
first time. I am working with Dennis Oliver and we will have BJ Berquist introducing TappedIn as our live speaker.
The five week session is open to all – come and join us beginning on January 10, 2011.
Finished up a week with my friends at CEET again. I participated in their Moodl’rific – New Era Teaching and Learning, week. There were participants from around the world mentored by a group of talented educators led by Sandy Hirtz. Webinars, online examples and deep conversations explored the world of distance learning. I am already looking forward to my next chance to work with the talented Computer Using Educators of BC.
This was an exciting conference for many reasons. As part of the planning committee again, I felt partially responsible for the presentations and days. The innovative Collaborative Keynote by Angela Maiers and Vicki Davis was superb; and I was honored to be selected as the Maine Technology Leader of the Year Finalist.
I led a Panel with the assistance of Page Lennig, Waynflete School, and Maya Crosby, Lincoln Academy, on the implementation of Google Apps for Education.
